Hunting & Wild Game Coolers in Alaska
Planning an insulated meat storage room on a rural property or at a hunting camp?
A monoblock refrigeration unit can provide cooling for suitable wild game and meat storage applications, subject to equipment selection and installation conditions.
For example, a room measuring 6 ft × 6 ft × 7.5 ft has a volume of approximately 270 ft³ / 7.6 m³. A 1 HP unit may be suitable, subject to a refrigeration load assessment.
Room volume alone is not enough to select equipment. Provide the approximate weight of fresh meat entering the room, its entering temperature, and the required cooling time so we can assess the appropriate unit.
Refrigeration for Alaska Businesses & Rural Properties
Whether you are planning a restaurant cooler in Anchorage, a butcher shop freezer in Fairbanks, or a food storage room on the Kenai Peninsula, the refrigeration unit should match your operating requirements.
For seafood projects, specify whether you need chilled storage, frozen storage, or product freezing. These applications have different refrigeration loads and require separate equipment assessment.
Send us your room dimensions, insulation details, target temperature, and expected daily product load. For remote properties, include the available power supply, site access, and unloading arrangements.
Electrical Configuration & Cold-Weather Installation
60 Hz configurations are available for the U.S. market. Before ordering, please provide:
-
Available voltage and phase
-
Indoor or outdoor installation location
-
Expected minimum and maximum temperatures around the equipment
-
Insulated panel thickness
-
Required cooler or freezer temperature
Outdoor suitability must be confirmed for your specific Alaska installation. Ask us to review the selected model’s operating range and any required low-ambient options or installation provisions.
Confirm the model’s electrical specifications, applicable U.S. approval documentation, and installation requirements before purchase.
